Breakfast Sausage Patties Recipe
Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes per Batch
Makes: 20 Patties
Ingredients:
- 3/4 Cup of Buttermilk
- 2 1/4 Tsp. of Kosher Salt
- 1 1/2 Tsp. of Rubbed Sage
- 1 1/2 Tsp. of Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tsp. of Pepper
- 3/4 Tsp. of Dried Marjoram
- 3/4 Tsp. of Dried Savory
- 3/4 Tsp. of Cayenne Pepper
- 3/4 Tsp. of Dried Savory
- 1/4 Tsp. of Ground Nutmeg
- 2 1/2 Lbs. of Ground Pork
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine buttermilk and seasonings. Add pork; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into twenty 3 inch patties.
2. In a large skillet coated with cooking spray, cook patties in batches over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160F. Remove to paper towels to drain.
